1) Which insurances do the physicians participate with?
Most Managed Care Plans are accepted along with NY Worker's Compensation, New York No-Fault and Medicare.
2) Can I see your physician if I have an insurance that they do not participate with?
Yes. Many of our patients see our physicians and pay for the visit out-of-pocket, then submit the bill to their insurance company for reimbursement. We are also able to negotiate with some insurance companies to see certain patients on an out-of-network basis.
3) Where are your offices located?
Our surgeons have offices in Purchase, New Rochelle and Middletown. Please
see our Locations page
for directions, office hours and contact information.
4) Do you have x-ray facilities within the office?
At most locations we do have x-ray-facilities on site; however, this will be confirmed when booking your individual appointment.
5) What hospitals are the physicians affiliated with?
Westchester Medical Center and The Marie Fareri Children's Hospital (Valhalla, NY), Sound Shore Medical Center, (New Rochelle, NY), Greenwich Hospital (Greenwich,CT).
6) What type of problems do orthopaedics specialize in?
We offer state of the art treatment of all pediatric orthopaedic problems, (congenital, trauma, sports medicine, scoliosis, juvenile arthritis, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and benign musculoskeletal tumors).
We take care of the full spectrum of orthopaedic problems in adults as well (total hip and knee replacements, arthroscopy, ACL Reconstruction etc.) Please see our Common Orthopaedic Disorders page for more details on these conditions.
7) Do we use the Ponseti Technique in treating the clubfoot?
We have a significant and successful experience in the Ponseti Technique. Our practice cares for more congenital clubfeet than any other in the Westchester and Hudson Valley area.
8) Do we care for poor children who do not have health insurance?
Our physicians feel that it is their moral responsibility to care for the less fortunate children among us. We have pediatric orthopaedic clinics that do not turn away patients because of their inability to pay.
9) At what hospital are our complicated children's cases operated?
We are fortunate to have a new free standing pediatric hospital, (Marie Fareri Children's Hospital) to function in. This hospital has dedicated orthopaedic nurses assisting our physicians in the operating room as well as state of the art orthopaedic equipment. The anesthesiologists are all pediatric fellowship trained physicians. This first rate pediatric hospital prides itself in being sensitive to the needs of children in addition to their families.
